After a lot of hemming and hawing I have decided to get rid of some of my old furniture. To name a few items, I will be getting rid of a well-used and well-worn couch; three dining room chairs; the dining room table; and a few other old furniture pieces that have seen better days. Besides replacing these old things, I will be visiting a home modern furniture store to get a few new items I did not previously have.
For one thing I will be getting a drawer for my bedroom. I used to keep most of my clothes in a closet or stuffed in plastic containers. But now that I look at these containers I think they are tacky and need to be replaced by something more tasteful, and a dresser drawer seems to fit the bill correctly. While at the home modern furniture store I will also get a bookcase. Since I am emptying out the plastic containers there will be enough room for me to add a bookcase to my room. With all my books lying atop one shelf it will do some good to get a dedicated shelf to store by books.
My trip to the store will be a good one and I am hoping my friends will be able to help me carry the items to my car.
